Benefits of Demonstrating/Merchandising/Mystery Shopping

  • Working with new products/different products.
  • Choose your schedule - you can accept or decline a job based on your schedule, etc.
  • Easy work - most demos/events run from 4-6 hours.  Merchandising assignments run 10 minutes to 8 hours.  Mystery shopping generally takes less than one hour.
  • Great pay!!!
  • Our company provides great support to all of our reps - you won't be left in the dark!  We have a weekend call team available to meet any needs you have before, during, or after your demo or assignment.

 

Independent Contractor (Rep) General Requirements (requirements are developed by clients.)

  • Be professional.
  • For demonstrations - provide equipment (typically a card table, white tablecloth, plastic gloves, and other necessary supplies (as needed)).
  • Digital Cameras beneficial
  • Demonstrators - white button-up shirt or blouse, black slacks, and dark dress shoes (unless otherwise noted).  Merchandisers - Usually business casual.
  • Be clean and hygenic before and during your event.
  • Able to lift up to 25lbs to 50lbs (varies) - usually specified in job outline.
  • Be willing and able to fully complete all contractor paperwork (W-9, I-9, IC Agreement, Invoice.)
  • Represent the products/clients well!  You are usually giving the first impression, make it a great one, it will stick!
  • Other requirements based on event instructions (per client) - given before booking.
  • Return calls, emails, etc. promptly.
  • Call with questions immediately.
  • HAVE FUN!
  • Most importantly - keep your commitments!

Pay Schedule (Pay Rates)

 

LP In-Store Services, LLC pays its independent contractors typically every 14-45 days, depending on receipt of payment from clients.  Payment is by check only (in USD).  In order for quick payment, reps must submit all paperwork (report forms, receipts, invoices, tax/ID forms, etc.) by the Wednesday following the event.  All payments are per assignment and are considered flat rate.
